My personal notes & small tips for Linux Home Users
Here is a new screenshot of my fully updated PCLinuxOS 2009.2 KDE3 Desktop.
I am really loving this Best Desktop Linux Distribution for Home Users.
KDE seems to be gaining ground over GNOME.
Yes Greg,KDE4 is just getting better and stable with the current KDE 4.3.3 very much stable and usable for day to day usage.
KDE 4 blows a$$. Most unstable pos I've seen. Crap, it can't even migrate Kmail etc. without losing most of your settings, filters, and rules. Are you sure you didn't mean to say the abandonment of KDE3 isn't helping GNOME?I've been using KDE for years (7+) and since I can no longer get KDE3 support, I'm looking for a new desktop.Even if I have to hand migrate the world.KDE4 = Brain dead Tards.Michael
Michael,Wait for the final release of PCLinuxOS 2010 and you will start liking KDE4, the beta version is really stable enough.I personally like GNOME but KDE4 is only good on PCLinuxOS.
